Schaake's Pumpkin Patch is a working farm with a 28 acre pumpkin patch. If your goal is to attend an affordable family activity that provides entertainment and education, then a trip to Schaake’s Pumpkin Patch is a must! This family tradition includes: no admission fee, free parking, free hay rack rides to and from the patch, a free spooktacular hay maze, a free playground including swings, a straw romp and straw slides, a number of farm animals and a variety of water fowl, game birds and chickens.

Along with this free entertainment there are a number of educational centers and photo opportunities located throughout the patch.

Hay Ride:
As a part of our field trips, each child will get a hayride to and from the pumpkin patch where they can pick their own pumpkin.

Farm Animals:
A number of farm animals and a variety of water fowl, game birds and chickens.

Hay Maze:
A free spooktacular hay maze, free playground including swings, and a straw romp and straw slides.

Plus, activities include pick-your-own-pumpkins, hayrides, a hay maze, the straw romp, farm animals for viewing, and a photo area.

Schedule

Coming into Lawrence from Kansas City area on Hwy 10, take exit East 1900 Rd, turn right 1/2 mile to stop sign at Dg Co Rd 442. Turn left going west on Dg Co Rd 442. Follow 1 1/2 miles to Noria Rd (N 1750 Rd). Turn right, going North on Noria to stop sign. Take another right onto N 1500 Rd. Continue 1/2 mile to the east. Pumpkin Patch is on the right (south) side of the road. Coming from Lawrence, take a left on Haskell Ave and continue to 4-way stop at 15th St. Turn right onto 15th and follow for approximately 3 miles. Pumpkin Patch is on the right (south) side of the road.
