The Devil's Washboard - Donmyer Road - Gypsum KS Real Haunt

  • Donmyer Rd.
  • Gypsum, KS
Along Donmyer Road, there are three steep hills that are called The Devil's Washboard. Stories say that seven local teens were racing in a car in the 1950s, when they slammed into the bank, killing some or even all of them. The car was wrecked and placed upon posts as a reminder to other teen drivers. The car was slightly moved in the 1990s, but some say it still remains today crumpled along the hillside. Other reports here include phantom screams, believed to be the teens who died in the car accident.
